Daniel Thelin - Drums
Sanctifica started in 1996 when Hubertus Liljegren (guitars) and Daniel Thelin (drums)
were joined by Alexander Orest on bass. The style was simply death metal. After
the first show Alexander left and was replaced by Jonathan Jansson. However,
Alexander was soon recruited once again, this time handling the keyboard, which
is what he is really good at.
This is when Sanctifica entered the studio to record In The Bleak Midwinter. It
was released in early 1998 as the bands first demotape. Shortly after this,
Henrik Georgsson joined Sanctifica as a second guitarist. Alexander left the
band in 1999 and was replaced by Aron Engberg.
In September 1999 Sanctifica entered the studio again, to record four songs to
send to different labels. This resulted in a record deal with C.L. Music &
Publishing and Little Rose Productions.
So Sanctifica entered the studio once again, to complete the last recording with
another four brand new songs. The result was the debut album Spirit Of Purity,
and it was released 24th of March 2000.
In 2001, Little Rose Productions and C.L. Music & Publishing went separate ways
and Sanctifica is now only signed to C.L. Music & Publishing. Sanctifica have
received great response for the debut album and have also done great live shows
in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Fans are all over the world.
A second album, called Negative B, was recorded and mixed October 2001 to
February 2002. This album will show you new levels of Sanctifica. It will be
available in March 2002.
